From Kitty Hawk to the surface of the moon

Julien P. Friez founds Belfort in Baltimore, Maryland.
1896
Belfort Observatory becomes the first meteorological observatory and instrument laboratory in the U.S.
1903
Wind sensors supplied for the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk, NC.
